“I... have to go too.” Sveta immediately follows Danya.

She sprints at full speed, breathing heavily. She rushes to the school parking lot and scans the area for a matte black Chaika car.

“My lady!” Yegor, the driver, waves as he approaches. In his hands, he carefully holds a bright red wreath of gladioluses — the winner’s flowers. “Freshly bought an hour ago.”

“Give it to me,” Sveta hastily grabs the wreath and heads off to school. On the run, she turns around and screams, “Don’t lose me! I’ll be back soon!”

I hope I’ll catch him! she thinks. I know Veshchy! He’s always disappearing somewhere, and then good luck finding him... Where is here? I wrote clearly in the letter — in the schoolyard...

Behind the building, she slows down and looks around frantically, searching for the telepath. When she spots him, the girl’s heart sinks. Danya is standing near the entrance to the garden... kissing a girl.
